Ireland, with its vibrant economy and diverse job market, presents an array of exciting employment opportunities for Chartered Accountants (CAs). Whether you are an experienced professional or a fresh graduate, this beautiful country offers an enticing landscape for career growth and personal development.

One of the key attractions of Ireland is its thriving Indian community. With a strong presence of Indian professionals and a supportive network, CAs can easily find a sense of belonging and community while pursuing their career goals. This not only provides a familiar environment but also opens up avenues for networking and collaboration within the community.

For members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), there is a clear pathway to becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ireland through a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA). This agreement recognizes the professional qualifications of ICAI members and allows them to seamlessly transition into the CPA Ireland membership. This not only adds credibility to their profile but also enhances their career prospects in the Irish job market.

It is highly recommended for ICAI members to become CPAs while exploring the job opportunities in Ireland. By obtaining the CPA qualification, they demonstrate their commitment and intent to excel in their field. This sets them apart from other candidates and adds value to their curriculum vitae (CV). Employers in Ireland recognize the significance of the CPA qualification and consider it as a valuable asset in their recruitment process.

When it comes to remuneration, Ireland offers competitive salaries for CPAs. According to payscale, the average annual salary for CPAs in Ireland is equivalent to INR 28.38 Lakhs. This attractive compensation package, coupled with the excellent work-life balance and quality of life in Ireland, makes it an ideal destination for Chartered Accountants seeking new horizons.

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA Ireland) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants India (ICA India), entered into a mutual recognition agreement (MRA) in October 2010. This agreement was renewed on Friday 5th October, 2018 in the offices of CPA Ireland. The agreement offers qualified members of each body to become a member of the other body, and to enjoy the benefits which each organisation offers.
